BREAST PTOSIS (SAGGING BREASTS)
The position of the breast on the chest wall varies depending on the weight and shape of the breast and the age of the patient. The perception of a sagging breast is always relative and it should be left to the patient to judge. Sometimes the breast loses volume which gives a false impression of sagging. Raising or reshaping a breast involves creating scars of varying size and a discussion between patient and surgeon is necessary.
